I am sitting in the Phoenix airport waiting for my flight to Vancouver tonight. I love airports (NOT). I think I have spent over 1/3 of my calling career hanging out in different airports waiting and waiting and............sigh!

I just had a super weekend with Darren Galina and Dave Rensberger and over 90 wonderful dancers. What a blast. It was a mini weekend with dancing on Saturday afternoon and evening and Sunday morning and afternoon. Great energy and the floor was full the entire time.
A big personal thanks to Thom for putting together such a good party.

and so I continue to wait...........

I am sure that you are all very surprised to hear that it is raining in Vancouver. I have been trying to cut my hedge and the bushes (hmmm, no not THAT kind of bushes) for the past 4 days to no avail. It becomes a problem when you are using an electric hedge trimmer in the rain and the thunder storms. I am over the curly hair stage of my life thank you very much.
I guess I will just have to find something else to occupy my time.

You will never guess what happened this morning......... the sun is in the sky in Burnaby BC. Yahoo! We were starting to build an arc in the back yard 'cause it has rained so much lately.

My Dad and Stepmom are here visiting from Peterborough Ontario so the weekend (at home for a change) will be very busy. Should be fun.

When Todd was going to school for the first day he cried non stop for about an hour. Turns out, he didn't know how to spell Uebelacker.....go figure. On the way to school, we sang it kinda like this....
uebe lac ker mouse just like the "mousekateers" did on Disney. It worked so well that Todd's teachers thought his name was Uebelackermouse for almost a year...sigh!
